1. Gelato! Sea Salt Caramel has my heart, but I really do need to try some of their new flavors. 2. I wear this gold dragonfly necklace all the time. 3. Moisturizer for me. 4. Lotion for baby. 5. Suede boots–Hello, Fall! 6. Ranunculus 7. The most delicious anniversary spot.
What are you loving these days?
These gorgeous doors come from a historic home in West Newton Hill, Massachusetts. The home was originally built in 1917 and was renovated by Meyer & Meyer. What do you think of them?

We recently finished up the Red Hawk model home with the amazing Holmes Builders. I’ve been so excited to share this little teaser of what we have been working on with you.
The model is now open and would be the perfect place to stop if you are out and about this weekend. It is located at 122 Blackburn Drive in Coppell. Here is a map to help you find it. If you do make it out there, I’d love to hear what you think!
Welcome to your week! Monday seemed to come too fast this week, didn’t it? At least I have these lovely doors to cheer me up. I love the color and the scalloped detailing above the doors.

On our long walk near the Public hotel, we wandered around the historic Gold Coast neighborhood and even happened upon a Jazz Festival in Lincoln Park. I love Chicago, as I have mentioned before, and all it has to offer. The architecture in this area is stunning and made for a lovely stroll through the city.
While it may seem like I am still on vacation with all these travel posts, we are definitely back in the studio! Excited to share some of the projects we are working on with you soon.
Welcome to your week! While we were in Chicago, the baby and I took a long walk around the beautiful Gold Coast neighborhood. I loved everything I saw, especially these doors. Gorgeous!
ESD is growing and we are in need of two fabulous people to add to our team. We are looking for a Design Assistant and an Office Assistant. Design Assistant must be willing to complete a 3 month unpaid internship prior to being hired and know AutoCAD. Office Assistant needs to be detail oriented, highly organized, and be familiar with Quickbooks. If you’re interested, or know someone who might be the perfect fit, please send resumes to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Public Hotel in Chicago over the holiday weekend. I was so enamored with the design of this hotel that I could not help but share all the fabulous details via Instagram. We loved morning lattes in the lounge. The fixtures in The Pump Room were probably some of the most creative uses of lighting I’ve seen. Definitely a must see spot the next time you’re in Chicago!
Just in case you missed out, here are a few more photos to give you a taste of the hotel’s sophisticated style.

Welcome to your week–on a Tuesday! Hope you had a fabulous holiday weekend and that it was the perfect end to your Summer.
This oversize Dutch front door is from a home in Connecticut designed by Miles Redd. The front of the door is painted a lemon yellow, while the inside of the door is a lacquered dark blue. The contrast is boldly beautiful and makes for a dramatic entry.
A few more photos of this lovely home, including the mudroom painted in Farrow & Ball’s Olive and a couple views of the front walkway and porch.
